Monica Rikic (Barcelona 1986) studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona until 2009, where she focused his production mainly in video art and animation.
While studying, she made two international exchanges: one at the Technical University of Athens, where she began working with the net art, and the other at Southern Cross University in Australia, where she focused his work on digital animation and sound.
After that, she attended the Master in Digital Arts at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, wheres he learned programming and other interactive techniques. That’s where she discovered code as a powerful artistic language that best suit her needs.
She has participated in several international exhibitions, conferences and festivals of art and music as Ars Electronica, FILE Festival, SonarKids, TEI Conference or Margaret Guthman Musical Instrument Competition.
